About Me

I received my Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Michigan in 1992.  In 1994, I became licensed to practice psychology in the state of New York.  I also studied at New York University’s Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis beginning in 1995 and finishing in 2002.  I am a clinical supervisor for psychology doctoral students at Yeshiva University, Ferkauf School of Psychology.  During my undergraduate years, I studied philosophy and sociology.

I bring a wide perspective to my practice in which I appreciate a variety of approaches to improving mental and emotional functioning.   In contemporary terms, I describe myself as a relational and interpersonal psychologist,  highlighting the importance I assign relationships and interactions in my work.
